How we do what we do.

The process of creating a video marketing piece can take shape in many different ways and lead down any number of roads, and the destination is always unique.

While the concept, content, and nitty-gritty details of each project we’re a part of is always different, the following steps provide us with a logical path to move your project from Point A to Point B.

Cooperate and collaborate.

When you’re ready to get your project underway, we’ll meet with you personally to discuss your business, your goals, and your ideas. You know your business best, and our hope is that we’ll gain a better understanding of what makes it tick. We’ll bring plenty to the table as well, and through a collaborative brainstorming session, you’ll soon see a creative concept for your project begin to coalesce.

While not too many specifics will be hammered out, together we’ll eke out a framework and some ideas that will guide us through the completion of your project. Our goal is to end the meeting with you feeling completely confident that you made the right decision to work with us.

Cogitate and cultivate.

After our initial meeting, we’ll stay in regular contact with you while we begin to flesh out the more finite details of your project. Taking what we learned from you during that first meeting, we’ll assemble a concept, proposal, budget, and any other materials necessary to give you as clear a picture as we can of what to expect as we work through your project. Once you give us the green light, the real work can begin.

Should we need to do any research for your project, or collection of archival information or materials, that happens now. Using these resources, we’ll develop scripts, storyboards, production timelines, and a general plan of attack to turn all these good ideas into a comprehensive video marketing piece for you.

Create and concatenate.

Most video projects will involve two main phases: “production” which is the actual recording of the performance and sound, and “post-production” when the material created in “production” is assembled into what becomes the final video product. These phases are usually the most time-consuming and labor-intensive parts of the entire process, but it is in these phases that the real magic happens.

During production, we’ll use professional video equipment and techniques to set the scene and capture imagery and sound. You’ll see our ideas coming to life. We take the footage from the shoot into post-production, and along with photos, still and motion graphics, voiceovers, music and sound effects, your video project will achieve its final form. And since our job isn’t complete until you’re satisfied, you’ll have the opportunity to review your project at this time to be sure that it exceeds your expectations.

Captivate and communicate.

Now that you’ve got a video for or about your business, what do you do with it? Your video can only be effective if it’s seen by your customers, so that’s where the final step of the creative process begins. Whether it’s a broadcast commercial, web video, DVD release, or a combination of these, we’ll follow through to make sure your project is properly packaged and delivered.

And while your video may suit your needs now, we recognize that no project is ever truly complete. Addresses and phone numbers change, services or products expand, and marketing plans grow with time. In light of this, we treat each project as if it were a living, breathing thing that can be revisited and revised as needed.
